Logic is not one going wrong with confindence, I believe that the author of this quote finds logic as a way to unrealistically explain something. I believe that with a complete argument, logic can be used to fully argue and explain points simpler. With logic a complex argument can be simplified into corresponding points that can be easily explained. Many points are better explained with this idea of using logic.

Don't you think that someone can use logic to argue a point, but they aren't correct? A lot of times people are wrong, yet logical.
ReplyDeleteI agree that logic can be a useful and simple way of explaining things but like Eirinn said what if the idea is incorrect? I think your idea works but only if you know for a fact that what you're trying to explain is correct.
ReplyDeleteI do agree that the author does seem to imply that logic is used to unrealistically explain something, however, it seems as though people use logic incorrectly as much as they use it properly
